Juan Andrés Avilan

The Tireless Dreamer Behind DONE RIGHT Home Improvement
Founder, leader, and heart of our company, Juan Andrés Avilan is much more than just the CEO of DONE RIGHT, he’s a natural-born visionary, a relentless worker, and a man who deeply believes in the power of faith, family, and good energy to build great things… really great things.
Originally from Venezuela, Juan began his journey in the world of industrial maintenance and construction in the city of Valencia. He holds degrees in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, along with master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and in Public and Private Project Management. But what truly sets him apart is that he doesn’t just live in the blueprint, he lives in the field. He’s hands-on, bold, and not afraid to take big risks or dream big.
With over 19 years of professional experience, Juan has led large-scale projects both in his home country and here in the United States. After moving to the U.S. in search of new horizons, he joined a remodeling company that was just beginning to expand into new construction. His drive and leadership quickly stood out, leading him to head projects in areas like Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Miami Beach and more. and eventually, to take the leap and create his own company: DONE RIGHT Home Improvement.
Before that, he founded his first construction company in Venezuela: Ingeniería Positiva, a name that reflects his philosophy perfectly, "with positive energy and God in your heart, everything is possible."
A proud Catholic, Juan lives his faith daily and uses it as a compass both professionally and personally. He’s the kind of leader who’s up with the sun and still working after sunset, always with a clear purpose: to do things right, and do them better when it’s done as a team.
Beyond the hard hat, Juan is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, and he strives every day to lead them by example. A firm believer that "example is the most powerful teacher," Juan is convinced that everything begins at home, because the family is the foundation of society, and for him, building a strong family is just as important as laying the foundation of any construction.
Juanchot is more than a CEO. He’s a dreamer with work boots, an engineer with the soul of a leader, and a man who builds not just with his hands, but with his heart, and always with purpose.

Andrea González
Home Improvement Advisor, full-time mom, and queen of millwork (with opinions included).
If you’ve ever doubted that big energy can come in small form, you haven’t met Andrea González, a.k.a. La Pulga. In just four years with us, this Venezuelan powerhouse with the soul of a designer and the background of a physical therapist has become the go-to expert for the finishing touches that take our projects to the next level.
Andrea is in charge of all those details that many men in the industry tend to overlook: window treatments, millwork, closets, wallpaper, color palettes, and more. Though she started her professional path in health and Pilates, life (and our COO) led her to reinvent herself and dive into the world of construction and remodeling, where she now shines.
But let’s be clear: don’t call her early in the morning. Seriously. Andrea works best once the sun is high and the caffeine has kicked in. Her mind is often juggling it all, projects, decisions… and the schedules of two little princesses who inherited not just her attitude and height, but also her energy.
Her biggest strength? She’s brutally honest and never sugarcoats her opinions. Clients love her for her straightforward advice and genuine care, she never suggests anything unless it makes sense, looks amazing, and fits the client’s vision. No fluff. Just facts and taste.
In her “free” time (if such a thing exists), you’ll find her at the beach, living life simply and happily, or playing full-time Uber driver for her daughters’ activities. Long drives don’t scare her, actually, they help her unwind.

Enrique Rodríguez
If there's someone who perfectly blends structure with entrepreneurial spirit, it’s Enrique Rodríguez. As a partner and our Chief Operating Officer (COO), Enrique is all about organization, process, and precision. He’s extremely meticulous, always the first to arrive, and a master at delegating tasks with clarity and holding the team accountable.
Originally from Venezuela, Enrique is a born entrepreneur and business administrator by profession. Over 20 years ago, he co-founded a mining industry company with his family in Venezuela, and about a decade ago, he expanded with a branch in Colombia, both of which are still active. He’s a natural deal-maker and visionary leader, always thinking big.
But beyond business, his biggest passion is his family. He’s a proud father of two talented kids and lives life with a balance of work and joy. He loves the beach, soccer, and paddle sports like tennis, padel, and beach tennis. A fan of nightlife, Enrique enjoys discovering great food and sipping on a well-crafted drink.
His mix of discipline, experience, makes him a cornerstone of our team, and someone you’ll love to work and connect with.
Edgard Mujica
aka "Ed"
The Architect Who Can Draft Your Plans & Unload a Truck if Needed.
As the newest member of our team, Edgard Mujica hasn’t wasted a second in making his presence felt. His role? Architect and Project Manager. His mindset? 100% commitment, energy, and a “count me in for anything” attitude.
Originally from Venezuela, Edgar is a professional architect with the spirit of a true multitasker. He’s one of the first to arrive at our facilities and one of the last to leave, and words like “that’s not my job” don’t exist in his vocabulary. Whether he’s designing detailed plans at his desk or urgently helping out on-site, he’s always ready to go the extra mile.
He’s a natural conversationalist, always in a good mood, and a powerful energy booster for the whole team. Edgar mixes discipline with passion, and it shows in everything he takes on.
And when he’s not working? You’ll find him working out, watching Formula 1 races, or brainstorming his next business move. If Edgar had a personal slogan, it would be: “Never enough.” He’s always chasing more, more growth, more challenges, more success.
Recently engaged, Edgar is about to take on his most exciting personal project yet: marriage. And yes, he’s planning it with the same dedication and enthusiasm he brings to his job!
Edgar is all about passion, commitment, and good vibes. A visionary architect with the heart of a leader, he’s here to build, connect, and uplift… and he’s doing just that!
Jose Antonio Díaz

If there’s someone who knows every corner of our projects, it’s Jose Antonio Díaz. With over 10 years working side by side with our CEO, Juan Avilan, Jose is not just skilled labor, he’s pure experience, commitment, and heart on the job site.
Originally from Cuba and proudly living in Miami for many years, Jose has a life story that truly inspires. He bravely stood up for his country’s freedom and was punished by the regime’s tyranny. That tough chapter didn’t break him, it made him stronger, more resilient, and more determined.
A man of simple tastes and solid values, he’s not impressed by appearances or luxury. What matters most to him is doing things right, being present, and working with honesty. He’s always active, always early, and always ready to give his best.
While he’s passionate about building, his true motivation is his family, they are his reason and his pride.
Jose doesn’t just build with his hands… he builds with his example. We’re proud to have him as a daily inspiration and a key part of our team!

Bianca Dubon
Bianca Dubon is much more than our CPA and manager, permits, and accounting. She’s the perfect blend of structure, strategy, and personality. For nearly a decade, she’s been the right hand of our COO, keeping all things finance and compliance on track like a pro.
But let’s be real: Bianca is not a morning person, and definitely not a Monday person. As the week moves forward and Friday starts to shine on the horizon, her mood lifts, her jokes land, and her full personality blooms. Her teammates track it like clockwork .
Bianca learns fast, follows directions (when she wants to ), and has a strong sense of fairness and responsibility. She holds the team, and clients, to a high standard. Anyone trying to cross the line? Think again.
Born in the U.S. with Cuban and Colombian roots, Bianca draws her greatest inspiration from her grandmother, who taught her how to navigate life with warmth, grit, and wisdom. Today, she’s a proud and exceptional mother of three talented kids, “the boys,” as she lovingly calls them, who are the center of her world.
Her passions? A well-made cocktail, cooking her signature dishes, and quality time with her family. Bianca is, without a doubt, the structured heart of our operation, with Latin soul and her own special seasoning.
Violeida Rio

If you’ve ever walked into our offices and everything smells amazing, sparkles like new, and feels perfectly in place... chances are Violeida has already worked her magic. With over 3 years on our team, she’s not just part of the cleaning crew, she’s a force of nature with a mop in hand and a mission for perfection.
Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Violeida brings with her the warmth, spirit, and deep cultural pride of her homeland. A devoted grandmother of two beautiful princesses, a loving mother to a wonderful son who’s been her lifelong support, and a loyal friend like no other, she embodies everything we admire in a teammate and more.
She’s an early riser, a cleanliness perfectionist (seriously, her nose can detect the faintest whiff of "something’s not right"), and a dedicated guardian of our shared spaces. Her commitment goes beyond dusting and organizing, she makes every environment feel cared for and alive.
A woman of unshakable faith, a lover of music, and someone who cherishes time with friends and family, Violeida is joy in motion. Her energy is infectious, and her presence reassuring. If you ever thought cleaning was a background task, she’ll show you that true care shines through every polished surface.

Víctor Valdés
Víctor is one of those professionals who never stops learning. With several years on our team as skilled labor, his nighttime school is TikTok and YouTube, where he constantly improves his skills and eagerly takes on new challenges. He loves tough jobs and complex tasks… and although he’s not an early bird, he stays until the job is done, no matter the hour.
Originally from Cuba, Víctor’s story is one of effort and resilience. His father was separated from him for many years, working from afar to support the family. Víctor came to the U.S. when his dad was finally able to legally and financially bring him over, and following his father’s example, he later gathered the resources to bring his own family.
Today, he is the proud father of a family of four, and together with his wife, they work hard every day to give their two kids the best.
Besides being a dedicated worker, Víctor is passionate about cars and engines, with hands-on mechanical knowledge that makes him one of a kind.
While his laid-back style can sometimes stress out coworkers, he always gets the job done on time. That perfect mix of calm and commitment makes him a key pillar in our team!
Adrian Quevedo

Some people just make everything easier… and Adrian Quevedo is one of them. As the person in charge of our Miami building and a key part of our team for many years, Adrian is the kind of professional who never gives up, is always available, and makes everyone laugh while getting the job done!
Originally from Venezuela, Adrian came to the U.S. with one clear mission: to support his son’s dream of becoming a professional baseball player. With a background in the paint store business, he brought not only experience but also heart, hustle, and a relentless work ethic.
Adrian is the backbone of his family, proudly carrying the weight of his household’s financial responsibilities on his shoulders. His family is his motivation, and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to give them a better life.
He brings positive energy to every space — clients, coworkers, even visitors agree: Adrian is one of a kind. Always ready, any time, for anything, and his dedication to both his work and loved ones is simply unmatched.
But don’t let his smile fool you, Adrian is also incredibly responsible and takes his role seriously. He gets frustrated when others don’t do what they should, because he believes in doing things the right way.

While he may be a man of few words, his deep passion and commitment to construction speak volumes. Michel is a versatile worker who brings a wealth of skills to the execution of projects, making him a valuable asset to our daily operations.
With Cuban roots, Michel arrived in this country with a strong work ethic and determination. From the moment he arrived, he has demonstrated that the values instilled in him from a young age are the foundation of his professional success. His diligent approach and ability to adapt to various tasks in the construction field have made a lasting impression on his coworkers.
Throughout his journey, Michel has shown skill and proficiency in hands-on work, becoming an active and dedicated member of the team. He brings energy and commitment to every task he undertakes, which is essential for the progress of our projects. His willingness to learn and collaborate, despite having limited experience, has been key to his rapid integration into the group.
